Revenues Team Leader

Job Description

Responsible for ensuring revenue transactions are reviewed, documented and accounted for in compliance with company’s revenue recognition policy, US GAAP and Sarbanes Oxley 404 (SOX).
Work in close coordination with corporate finance functions on accounting and quarter close related activities.
Support sales organization, while translating complex accounting issues to ensure deals are structured in accordance with the company’s revenue recognition policy and U.S. GAAP.
Support and control all incentive plans offered by the company and responsible for the rebates tool and related process.
Design, manage and execute revenue recognition’s policies, process and controls.
Influence, drive and implement changes in all areas related to new revenue recognition standards and monitor any other SEC and FASB developments related to revenue recognition.
Manage and develop the revenue recognition team to ensure the team maintains current and thorough knowledge of company’s revenue policy and underlying U.S. GAAP Accounting rules.
Provide technical revenue recognition training to cross functional teams including Sales, Legal, Services, etc. as required.
Support the revenue forecast process
Provide reports and analytic analyses to management
Work on ad hoc projects as assigned from time to time.
Ability to work well with all levels of the organization including Sales, Business Operations, Legal, Services, Corporate Finance and Tax.

Extensive Revenue Recognition Experience
At least 4 years' experience in a Big 4 accounting firm auditing global hi-tech companies or work at global hi-tech companies with vast US GAAP experience
Management experience
Strong analytical and MS-Excel skills
Proven knowledge of new revenue guidance ASC 606
Fluent English and excellent interpersonal and communication skills
High service orientation and a team player
Multi-task ability and willing to work under pressure
