Green Course leads struggles for environmental and social justice though community organization and leadership development, with the goal of building an environmental movement to change reality.
Essence of the Program
By leading an environmental and social change. The program will take you through professional and group training of community organization and activism, and you will be personally supported while experiencing leading a public struggle to change reality (on the job training). The bi annual training program for community organizers provides an opportunity for practical experience.

- Components of the Training Program
Personal Group Support
Support in leadership development, building active groups and activist activities, which include public work, meeting with decision makers and leaders of relevant changes, effective use of social media and voicing the message of the campaign in local and national media.
In-Depth Training in Community Organization and Activism
In the program, you will gain professional knowledge and experience leading a group and a campaign for social change and you will get to know the political space and movements for change in Israel from within. You will learn about practical tools such as skills in harnessing and motivating to action, strategic planning and leading a campaign for social change, tools to influence decision makers, working with the media, and more.
Annual Work Process
Running regular cell meeting and leading the campaign in accordance with a strategic plan, which includes public events and actions.
Receiving an Annual Grant
An Excellence Grant of up to ILS 10,000 in the first year and up to ILS 12,000 in the second year, subject to meeting the terms of the program

- Steady, full and active participation in all bi-annual training programs
- A commitment to lead an active cell, which promotes an environmental and social struggle
- An average investment of 10 weekly hours
- Motivation and willingness to learn and experience the tools of community organization and activism
- The ability to lead a group and develop leadership among cell activist
- Curiosity about the climate crisis, the environment and political perceptions
